Distant Contemplation

Plant seeds, nourish them

Experience multiplies between us. Share ideas, share thoughts, share wants, share questions… Sometimes answers return.

Capture ideas before they slip away from your attention. This can be done through writing, making a voice memo, sketching… Just capture it in whatever simple form possible in the moment. By making a perceivable instance of the idea, even in this most basic form, it acts as an anchor in the material world for the otherwise ephemeral ether. Only juggling ideas in the confines of mind makes them prone to being forgotten. These act as seeds of ideas which may be elaborated upon. Write down everything you want—everything you want to experience, everything you want to learn, everywhere you want to go… The opportunities will arise, to realize them—and you’ll be all the more able to recognize and cultivate them.

They may lie dormant for years before progressing in any significantly observable way, but it’s important to secure the foundation. Much of this human world we experience today is the manifestation of ideas, which all started as seeds.
